We're very excited to announce our first annual gathering. Make plans to attend Polyamorous Percolations Stew & Brew 2006!

February 06, 2006. Important: Updated information regarding this event has been released. Please review this in addition to the official information as listed below.

What is it?
Stew & Brew 2006 will be a gathering of and for polyamorous and poly friendly folks alike. Come out and meet the Staff of Polyamorous Percolations, as well as all the folks you've come to call friends. This event will be for anyone who wishes to attend. You don't need to be a member of our community forums, although being a member will afford you certain benefits. We will offer special discounted meal plans and limited issue event t-shirts to all of our members. Non-members can still join us and purchase these items if they desire, although they will be at a different fee schedule. At this point we have nothing structured as to weekend content, this is our first annual gathering and we plan on using this weekend to meet and get to know folks within the community. If anyone wishes to suggest any type of content, please email us with your recommendations. Come celebrate our first anniversary and show your support for the poly community! We also have an entire section of our forums dedicated to this event. Check it out here.

Where is it?
Stew & Brew 2006 will be held at Point Lookout State Park in beautiful Scotland, Maryland. Recreational opportunities abound on this picturesque peninsula formed by the Chesapeake Bay and the Potomac River. Swimming, fishing, boating and camping are just a few of the activities to be enjoyed in this beautiful bay setting.

This park's peaceful surroundings belie its history as the location of a prison camp which imprisoned as many as 52,264 Confederate soldiers during the Civil War. A museum on site recounts this vivid history. A park map is available at park headquarters, the camp office, camp store, and the Civil War Museum/Marshland Nature Center. Please make sure that you read over the park's rules and regulations before planning to attend. Polyamorous Percolations will host this event, but we will assume no liability for you attending.

When is it?
Stew & Brew 2006 will be held Friday, June 16th through Sunday, June 18th 2006. The registration process is now open, and if you wish to reserve a t-shirt or take part in the meal plan, you must RSVP with us no later than 45 days prior to the event. If you RSVP after this date you can still attend, but we cannot guarantee the availability of either a t-shirt or the meal plan. We will have a few extra t-shirts available at the vent, but because we use a print-on-demand service, extras will be limited. Reserving a meal plan does not imply that we will cook for you, it is just a convenient way for folks traveling a long distance to be able to have access to groceries without needing to bring them along. The menu is subject to change, but will include basic staples such as eggs / oatmeal, basic sandwiches, and some type of evening meal. As we solidify these options, more information will be made available.

What will this cost me?
We will not require any payment from you for you to attend this event, other than paying for your own campsite and whatever other extras you wish to purchase from us. A typical campsite at Point Lookout will accomodate six people, and costs $25.00 per night. If you require additional accomodations (trailer space, electric, a cabin) please check their website for availability. Folks wishing to purchase our meal plan, or an event t-shirt, should choose the option below that best fits your needs. The official Stew & Brew 2006 T-shirt is now available for purchase from our online store. If you purchase it direct you will pay the full price of $9.39 plus shipping and handling. If you wish to qualify for the pricing schedule below you must register with us no later then May 31, 2006.

If you wish to participate in the meal plan and have special needs (vegitarian / health conscious / etc.) please feel free to let us know and we will make arrangements to accomodate you. Anyone wishing to share campsite space in order to save on site fees should make arrangements individually. We encourage the use of this Stew & Brew 2006 forum for that purpose. We will not make campsite reservations for folks wishing to attend, please do so yourself.

How do I pay for this?
We will accept two forms of payment for this event. Our preferred method is PayPal. Any payments can be sent to the PayPal account associated with our email address; chias@polyamoryonline.org. If you don't feel comfortable with this, you may email us directly for alternate payment methods. Please, if you use PayPal to send us funds, do send an email along with your name and the number of folks attending. Also, let us know what services you will be purchasing so that we can make the proper arrangements. (PayPal also provides a convenient comment box just for this purpose.) Also, when registering for meal plans or t-shirts, please tell us how many people will be attending from your family. Will you be attending but not needing our meal plan or t-shirt? Please let us know so that we can plan accordingly.

I'm very excited about this upcoming event, and hope to see each and every one of you there at Stew & Brew 2006! I'll provide more information as we move closer to this event.
